Altintop extends Bayern deal

06/02/2010 - Munich, Germany (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Bayern Munich midfielder Hamit Altintop signed a one-year extension to his contract on Wednesday that will keep him with the Champions League finalists until 2011.

Altintop made 15 appearances in league play for Bayern this past season as he helped the team win both the Bundesliga and league cup titles.

The 27-year-old Turkey international also appeared in the Champions League final against Inter Milan in place of the suspended Franck Ribery.

Since joining Bayern from Schalke in 2007, Altintop has scored five goals in 49 Bundesliga appearances.
