NBA returns to Mexico City for preseason game

LOS ANGELES (AP) -The NBA is returning south of the border when the Los Angeles Clippers play the San Antonio Spurs in an Oct. 12 preseason game in Mexico City.

It will be the league's 17th visit to Mexico City and 19th game in the country, the most matchups in any country outside the United States and Canada.

The game will be played as part of the Olympic Sports Festival, which runs Oct. 9-17 as part of the bicentennial celebration of Mexican independence.

Other preseason games will be played in Barcelona, Spain, London, Milan, Italy and Paris.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. The AFC South and the NFC East are the favorite divisions to have the next Super Bowl champ among them in the NFL betting odds. But more down to the point, these football odds are in favor of the Indianapolis Colts, by far the strongest team in the AFC South, and the Dallas Cowboys of the NFC East.
